About

Small company. Serious about water.

Yeti Backflow Testing exists for one reason: backflow testing should be easy for the person who got the letter, and done right for everyone downstream.

Our story

Why Yeti

Most people only think about backflow once a year, when a letter shows up from the water utility with a deadline and a bunch of acronyms. Then they call around, get three different prices, wait two weeks, and hope the tester actually files the report.

We built Yeti Backflow Testing to fix that. Upfront prices on the website. Same-day filing with your utility. Repair kits on the truck. A reminder next year so you never get the second notice. And straight answers when something about your assembly isn’t right.

We’re based in Seattle and work across King, Snohomish, Pierce counties — from Everett to Tacoma, and out to the Eastside.

How we work

  • By the book. Every test follows the USC field test procedures Washington DOH requires, with a test kit verified for accuracy at least annually.
  • Licensed for what we do. Testing requires DOH BAT certification. Repairs require contractor registration, and work inside buildings requires an L&I plumbing certificate. We only take on work we’re licensed for, and we’ll tell you when a job needs someone else.
  • Documented. Readings, photos and repair notes go with every report.
  • Honest. If your assembly passes, we don’t go looking for a repair to sell you.
